Soul

Liam, born in a rich family in the far end of a city, there were many houses which were vacant and he was curious about them. When he asked his parents about them ,they seemed furious about that. One day Liam noticed there were people going towards those houses but when he wanted to wait for those people to come back . His parents shouted at him and grabbed him into the house.next day Liam noticed there were 2 trees in front of their house; he was surprised but his parents told him that it's normal. Liam was thinking about the incident in the school and was discussing it with his only friend Sam, but everyone in their class seemed angry about their conversation and the teacher also shouted at them. Liam and Sam were shocked. Except for them, everyone was like a robot because no other kid was talking about how trees could grow in a night, why the houses were vacant, why those people who went to the houses didn't come back and if anyone was going through those houses. These questions were haunting both of them. Then they decided to ask their biology teacher about it because he was the only one who was not afraid of anything, but when the boys asked them about it, the teacher told them to come to his house after school. So after school they both went to their respective houses, and after changing their clothes when they wanted to leave, their parents questioned why they were leaving,  but they both seemed confused and left the house and reached their teacher's house. They both sat on their teacher's couch and when the teacher was starting to answer their questions about trees , there was a knock on the door. When he opened the door he found the parents of Liam and Sam and villagers of that area . Then the parents took their kids back home and beat them for asking those questions to their teacher . Then after that day the teacher went missing but one day when Liam and Sam were coming home from school they found a tree and it had a ring in the branch which was their teacher's. They were shocked and confused but after 4 days they made a theory that stated that ‘The humans who went missing became trees and they thought there's a connection between the incidents and the vacant houses. So they were thinking of investigating the house but at first Sam was very scared. But when they were both at school if humans were turned into trees then one day they would turn into trees too . So somehow Sam decided with trembling legs that he would join for the investigation with Liam . After school, when they were leaving, the parents seemed abnormal but they didn't mind anything and left the house. They were walking towards those vacant houses with fear . All the people who were on the roads walking or speaking to someone else, didn't enter their houses like other times . Liam and Sam were confused because every other time they just entered their respective houses but this time why not . They both were confused and everyone asked them ‘where were they going?’ But one time Sam said they were going to vacant houses but those people didn't seem anything serious, they were just smiling and told those kids to go on . Sam and Liam were confused and thinking ‘is their theory wrong ?’ At a point Sam told Liam that they should stop their mission cause everyone was nicer than any other time . But Liam said if there's no problem then they should go on and he wanted to know ‘what happened to their teacher’. After hearing that Sam got some sense of motivation and wanted to go on with Liam but Sam’s legs were trembling,his hands were shaking with fear , his words became shaky too . Liam told him to calm down so Sam took a deep breath to calm himself down but at this point they found a forest in front of the vacant houses and they were thinking if their theory was true then it was just humans who were turned into trees . And as they reached the first vacant houses they both were trembling with fear but somehow they reached the main gate and found that there was a big lock and the lock looked like for decades the lock was untouched but they didn't lose hope . The house had three rooms and every room had two windows , so they were looking through the window but the windows were full of dust so the view was blurry . But they found some boxes and broken furniture which were covered with spider webs but they didn't find anything suspicious in the first house, so they were moving to the second house but one thing that got their attention was that those houses were surrounded by trees and they were scared of the trees. But somehow with their trembling legs they were moving towards the second house. When they reached the second there was nothing suspicious about that house but the lawn was in good shape after so much time and there were no trees, just small beautiful grass . Then they somehow moved to the third and last house and like the first the house was surrounded by trees but nothing suspicious at all . So they left vacant houses and were going to their houses but they heard something creepy like something fell off from a certain height but they thought it was a mouse or something who is just in the second house. So they ignored it and moved towards their respective houses, when they were returning the roadside villagers were staring at two of them and after they reached their respective houses. After reaching the houses the parents were asking them questions about those houses and about their experience, it was like they wanted to ask something like was they found something unusual in those houses and when they ended the conversation and found that they didn't find something unusual, the parents of both children went to outside and was talking to other people about it . It was like they were hiding something but the parents didn't say anything to the children. Then they went for dinner. It was a fruit and they poured some water in it and it became gigantic. It was the meal for one year. Actually the trees produce some kind of fruit which is like an apple but if anyone poured some water in it , it became gigantic in size and then if anyone ate it , then he or she didn't need to eat for a year . After dinner, Liam went to sleep but his parents were talking about something at the dining table. Liam was thinking about the second house and the lawn because if that's a vacant house then why did someone have to clean it but didn't clean the other two , so he was thinking about it ,he thought to himself that next day he would go to the library to read some books. The next day he called Sam and they both went to the library and when Sam was looking for some history books he found a book known as ‘Myth’ , out of curiosity he grabbed the book and went to the table and opened it . They both found that the book was empty, so they thought it was a joke but Sam turned the pages and in the middle 2 pages there were a picture of a slimey like creature known as ‘Leshy’ who can grow trees by using two things and the page was torn apart and in the next page there's a prayer to make him free . Now the boys learn what was growing those trees but they were thinking about the two things, when they were reading the prayer, the library owner grabbed the book from their hands and scolded them . Liam knew about the history where their ancestors found a way to grow trees and survive in a world where there was no oxygen for humans or animals and they had to kill all the surviving animals to survive from hunger . Sam said , ‘That’s why we are the last humans or animals in this whole world’. Liam and Sam were whispering about the Slimey-like creature that it can be the creature which can do it but they were thinking where the creature is right now . They remembered the persons going through that path which led them to the vacant houses so they were thinking about ‘why humans are required and when they were searching for something suspicious, they didn't find something’ . They were thinking of reinvesting those houses, especially the second house . The next day when they were going to school they found that the library owner was going in that direction where the three houses were situated , so they got an opportunity and so they forgot about school and started following that man by hiding from everyone else . When the man reached the second house, he was going to the back of the house and when the boys followed him to the backyard ,they found nothing. The man had disappeared so they ran from that place and went to school. The teacher scolded them for being late and ordered them to get out of that class until the end of the class. When they were standing outside, they saw a tree was growing outside of their school gate and beside the road , they knew the library owner was a tree now and they were scared by that . Then they wanted to tell their teacher about that but they suddenly realised that teachers and all of the others were involved in this , so they stayed quiet. When they were returning from school, they thought of themselves about the incident in the library and they realised that their ancestors asked the slimey like creature for help but they thought the ancestors made a deal by giving that creature a human . So they decided to reinvestigate the vacant houses once again but this time they would enter the house through the window and also would check the backyard carefully. Sam was scared of that talk but somehow Liam gave him courage. So before entering the house, they went to the vacant houses and straight went to the second house and entered the house through the window. In the first they didn't find anything suspicious, just cardboard boxes and some broken furniture, in the second room it's normal too with cardboard boxes and some other stuff . In the third room there was nothing suspicious but something was on the floor, some sticky liquidy thing like snail's mucus . So they found something suspicious and Sam was scared of that thing. Liam then used his hand to grab some of that but they saw something, which scared them all . In a minute the slimy thing disappeared like it never existed. Sam wanted to make a run for his life but Liam held his hand tight . 

Then they investigated all the corners of the room and didn't find anything so they went to the backyard. In the backyard, they searched for every corner but found nothing so they thought there was something hidden in that place and Sam's face glowed because he was a big fan of Sherlock Holmes so he was looking for a secret entrance and found a small hole exactly in the middle of the backyard. Liam was making fun of Sam because of the discovery and asked Sam how they were going to enter . Sam then placed his middle finger in that hole and suddenly the hole became bigger and they entered through it . In the underground area there were just the dead bodies of the people who entered the house. They were shocked but also they were moving forward and found a creature who was standing like it knew that those two would come . Sam and Liam were shocked by seeing it and also they wanted to run but soon realised that they couldn't. The slimy creature didn't have a mouth or eyes and it was like a trunk and it had tentacles, one of the tentacles was used in a tree . Then they realised that the creature could see everything from the ground because the ceiling was made of glass and the soil was nothing that was transparent. Then when the tentacle left the tree , there was a fruit. So they got to know the creature was making those fruits too . The creature attacked both of them but the boys ran for their life but one tentacle hit Liam and he fell on the ground, soon Sam realised that Liam was seriously injured and if the tentacle hit him again, he would die . Sam stopped, head down and when the tentacle was going to hit , he grabbed the tentacle and cut it down , Sam raised his head slowly and it was not like Sam , his eyes were bright red and he reached in front of the creature and punched it on it's face and kicked it on it's belly . Then throw it away and punch it again, the slimy creature was melting because of the punches and kicks . At last the creature fully melted and the creature released all the violet balls which were souls of humans and they were gone to the sky . Then Sam grabbed Liam with him and went to the ground where he found everyone was more like human right now , so they took Liam to the hospital and after some time Liam came back from the hospital . Then Sam and Liam realised that the creature used seeds to grow trees but needed humans for itself . Then it all came back to normal until human greed grew even higher and cut all those trees once again. It's a cycle, it can never be stopped.
